Description

American actor, best known for playing Frodo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.  He also was the voice of Mumble in Happy Feet.  He was recently in town this spring/summer to film a new TV series called Dirk Gently, to air on BBC America.  In late June, he was gracious enough to stop for a picture while on a break from filming an outdoor walking scene at Guelph Park in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant neighbourhood.  There are few photos of him flashing his pearly whites, so I especially like this picture because of his winning smile!
