- Storytellers recall what they remember from that eventful day on March 6th, 1945 when the freighter Greenhill Park exploded in Vancouver Harbour. There were glass windows all over Hastings Street. Half the windows in Spencer's Department Store blew out on to Cordova Street. It was a huge explosion.
