His projects include 'Alice in Wonderland', 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', 'Frankenweenie', and 'Corpse Bride'. In August 2013, he was in Gastown working on the movie 'Big Eyes', about painter Margaret Keane. While getting dropped off at his trailer one evening, I managed to catch him briefly for a quick photo. Despite looking preoccupied and probably focused on the night's work ahead, he was pleasant and obliging.
